The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) engages ASR annually to conduct an online survey of Victorian VCE teachers about a range of examination-related issues. The survey was first conducted in 2007.
Between 900 to 1000 teachers respond to the survey and provide feedback on exam content for around two thirds of all VCE exams offered in a particular year. The survey provides teacher feedback on the degree of difficulty, exam relevance to curriculum guides (as taught) and suggestions for improvement.
Each year ASR provides data, trend analysis and a full written report.
