NSW HealthShare – Food Services and Hotel Services Surveys

Since late 2016, ASR has developed and run for NSW HealthShare their Patient Food Survey and the Housekeeping Survey. This a complete end to end engagement for both surveys, involving the design, print, outward distribution to hospital sites and inbound processing of completed surveys.

To date, over 54,000 food surveys have been distributed to 136 NSW Health sites across NSW in four survey distribution periods, with completed response targets exceeding 98%.

In 2017 we consulted with Healthshare to run cognitive testing on the current surveys in terms of both survey content and design. This work was incorporated into another full distribution of the food survey that was conducted in February 2018, consisting of three different survey versions each catered for the individual patient segment that the hospital participating provides.

The housekeeping survey pilot was completed in late November 2016 and was released as a full distribution in December 2016 to 86 NSW Health sites in the Northern and Southern regions. To date over 42,000 surveys have been distributed with completed survey responses exceeding 76%. Another distribution to all sites in the Northern and Southern regions is currently in progress.
